Private Phinisi Charter: 2D1N Liveaboard

A private charter Komodo Island phinisi for 2 days and 1 night gives you one sunset, one sunrise, and time for both trekking and snorkelling without speedboat-style rushing.

Typical 2D1N route (example)

One common flow, adjusted for wind and tide:

• Day 1 morning – Depart Labuan Bajo 09:00–10:00. First snorkel stop at a nearby reef, then cruise towards Padar or Rinca area.
• Day 1 afternoon – Trek with dragons at Rinca or Komodo Island while temperatures allow. Sunset from deck or at a viewpoint.
• Night 1 – Anchor in a sheltered bay. Dinner onboard, stargazing, quiet night.
• Day 2 early – Optional Padar sunrise hike, or a gentler morning snorkel if your group prefers less hiking.

Core Komodo Highlights: What’s Actually Possible

Padar Island sunrise hike

Padar’s main viewpoint trail is a stepped path. From the beach to the upper viewpoints usually takes 20–40 minutes, depending on fitness and crowding. It can be steep and hot even by 07:30.

Realities:

• Dry season (roughly May–October) gives clearer views but can be very hot.
• Wet season (roughly November–April) may have greener hills but cloud or rain is more likely.
• Sunrise hikes require early harbour departure and calm-enough seas to keep timing.

Komodo dragons on Komodo and Rinca

Dragons are wild animals. Sightings are likely but never guaranteed. Ranger-guided walks depart at scheduled times from Komodo Island (Loh Liang) and Rinca (Loh Buaya), with routes adjusted for current conservation rules and dragon behaviour.

Expect:

• Midday heat; we try to plan walks earlier or later when possible.

Pink Beach and other beaches
